Theuerkauf Steam Summer School In Partnership with Olimpico Learning

June 11th- July 6th from 8:30-12:30pm

  • Summer School will teach Math and Literacy through exciting hands-on science activities. Students will also work on the Lexia computer reading program and on ST Math

  • There will be several presentations/assemblies each week!

  • Breakfast and lunch provided

  • This exciting STEAM school opportunity is FREE to Theuerkauf students

If you are interested in having your child attend, please fill out the form and return it to the office by Friday, April 20th.

Enrollment is on a space available basis. Once you return the form, you will be notified of final acceptance by April 30th.

  

 

Open House Night - Thursday, March 29, 2018

This is an exciting time to visit the classrooms and see the learning that has taken place this year in your child’s classroom.

The Taco Truck is back!  Come on out and enjoy dinner with other families and support our PTA.

Please note: This year CSMA Music will be playing a video in the MUR highlighting our district’s CSMA music program.  We look forward to seeing all families at the end of year band and strings concert that will be held at the CSMA center.

Parent Engagement Night: Measuring Student Progress, 4/17 @ 6-7pm

Get informed about what tests your student takes and when. This presentation will focus on all of the different tests and assessments students take at Theuerkauf depending on the time of year, and depending on grade level. States testing is coming up for 3rd-5th - how is that different from the district assessments they take?

Dinner, childcare and interpretation provided. See you there!!!

 

Attention 5th Grade Parents!  Requested Action Due Today

Online elective selection for next school year (middle school) started March 20th. All current 5th graders will select their course electives for 6th grade online this year. Parents, you can use the PowerSchool parent portal account. (If you don’t have an account, please contact your school staff). Then logon and select your student’s electives. Students must select their electives by March 28th, 2018. If you need assistance, please contact the Theuerkauf front office or Kristen Calderon in Room 28.

Walkathon

The Theuerkauf Building Community Walkathon is April 6! Show your school spirit and love of our community by walking and by fundraising with friends and family! Your student should have received a Walkathon permission slip with their report card. Please return it to your student's teacher so your child can participate. The permission slip is attached to this newsletter.

 

You also should have received the fundraising envelope. It includes instructions about how to raise money for our PTA. Thank you!
