 Principal's Message

Family Math Game Night TONIGHT 5:30-7pm!

Dinner is on us tonight! Come for pizza, salad, and a whole lot of fun math games and learning from 5:30-7pm TONIGHT in the MUR! This is for all students TK-5th grade! We look forward to seeing you there! Bring the family!

Thank you PTA!

I wanted to give a huge thank you to PTA for bringing the Science Festival to Theuerkauf last week! Having a PTA is such a gift because they get to continue to give cherished learning experiences to our students! At the end of April PTA will also be funding a Sky Dome (Planetarium) field trip coming to Theuerkauf! If you’d like to join or take on a small role like setting up school fundraisers, special events, sell Theuerkauf swag, etc. please reach out to our PTA president:(emilyrainschang@gmail.com).

This Saturday 3/9: Emily will be at Starbucks downtown (750 Castro Street, Mountain View) between 6-7 pm to answer any questions and share some coffee with you!

CAASPP Testing to begin in April

For grades 3,4, and 5 our state testing weeks this year are April 15 - May 3rd and iReady Diagnostic 3 is the week of May 13-17.  Please, no appointments or extra vacation days during these weeks!

Report Cards - Friday!

Please look out for your report cards after school on Friday. Take this time to discuss bright spots and goals for the final trimester of school! When you talk to your child about goals and strengths it shows how important school and learning is to you and the family. This is a great way to continue to motivate your child to try their best everyday at Theuerkauf!

Green Clean Team!

This month we are really focusing on doing our part to show pride in our school campus! Students will work hard to keep all areas of our campus clean. The Green Clean Team self-nominates themselves and goes around to pick out bright spots of our clean campus and then a school goal for the following week. I want to give a huge thank you to our wonderful custodians, Mr. Dennis and Mr. Sergio for all of their daily hard work!

I can’t wait to play some games with our Theuerkauf Cheetah Families tonight!
Warm Regards,

Principal Danielle Lyons

Better Together: March

In the month of March, #BetterTogether is taking a moment to honor the women trailblazers who shattered barriers and paved the way for future generations. As a way of honoring them, students in the district will also be learning about what it means to embody the spirit of being helpers for others, especially for others facing challenges and inequities. By standing #BetterTogether and amplifying the voices of women, we honor their legacy and continue to strive for a better world. For more information about Better Together, visit mvwsd.org/BetterTogetherMVWSD.
