 Principal's Message

Dear Cheetah Community,

We are now in the final trimester of the year! All of the teachers, staff, and students have been working so hard, and we look forward to an amazing end of the year, filled with learning, fun, and for 3rd-5th grades, a chance to show what they know on the state tests. Thank you for everything that you do to support your students at home. Go, Team Theuerkauf!

CAASPP Testing

Statewide testing is almost upon us. It is very important that all 3rd-5th graders are present for testing. Not only is this an opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding of grade-level content, but the data also helps us to improve our instruction and plan for intervention. Please ensure that your child is present on testing days (see below) and avoid scheduling appointments during the testing block (8:30-10:10am). Thank you!

Week of April 14th - Practicing and becoming comfortable with the test

Week of April 21st - ELA Testing

Week of April 28th - Math Testing

Week of May 5th - Science Testing for 5th grade only

Important PTA Association Meeting Tuesday 3/18/25 - on Zoom 6:30-7:30pm

Please come to the Association meeting so that you can hear about and give feedback on the changes that will be coming to Theuerkauf’s campus related to Outdoor Learning spaces. It is important that our families contribute their ideas and voices. A representative from Carducci Associates will be giving a presentation with the current vision of the changes to campus. Spanish language translation will be available as usual.

Peninsula Symphony - Thank you, PTA

Our teachers want to extend a Huge ‘Thank You’ to all of the parents who came to supervise during the recent Peninsula Symphony assemblies. The students TK-5 were all able to learn about the instruments. We may have some budding musicians here at Theuerkauf!
