Dear Cheetah Community,

Thank you PTA for putting on a fabulous Friendship Dance! Stella, my baby who is now one, and I had a great time dancing and hanging out in the calm craft room! I just pulled all of the raffle ticket winners on Monday with co-President Joie. She will be in touch if you were a winner. Thank you to all for donating to a great cause, our students! 

 

Save the Date! - Wednesday, March 11th 5-6:30pm 

Our next event will be March 11th for our Math Festival Night! This year we will also celebrate Pi day (3.14159265359) early! Of course there will be pizza PIE, salad, and actual PIE! Bring your whole family for a night of fun math games for all ages! 

 

Friday - Minimum day for the end of trimester 2 + LCAP Survey Due Date!

This is a friendly reminder that Friday is a minimum day! Please make sure to make pick up arrangements. 

Thank you to the parents who have completed their LCAP Survey. There are just a couple of days left! Please complete this survey by Friday, February 13th. Click on your unique survey link sent to your email on January 26. Your survey link is unique to your household, and only one parent/guardian can complete it. The survey closes on February 13.

3rd-5th Grade Families - Looking for something to do during February break?

For families with students in 3rd-5th grade who are looking for something to do, check out the CAASPP practice test questions online! CAASPP testing will start after April break. Library News

Please read over the Winter Break! Second through Fifth grades are reading to win prizes in our Better Together BINGO when they read 12 books. Help students keep track of their reading over the break.

For grades that take books home, please remember to not travel with Theuerkauf Library books and that all books will be due again starting Monday, February 23. Books are due on (TK, K do not take books home; check with your teacher if students bring their books home): 

  • Monday: Rooms 18, 19, 20, and 22

  • Tuesday: Rooms 9, 6, 11, 21

  • Wednesday: Rooms 16, 8

  • Thursday: Room 15

  • Friday: Rooms 7, 17

There are 94 books that are overdue to the library. Please ask your students if they have books to return. Automated notices to families will start again the week of February 23.

🥞🚗 Pancake Fundraiser & Car Show is Coming Up!

Our Pancake Fundraiser and Car Show is just around the corner, and we would love your support to help make this event a success! We are continuing to look for cars and motorcycles to showcase in our car show. If you or someone you know would like to participate, we’d love to have you join us! Electives selection for grades 5-7 opens on February 23, 2026 

It’s the time of year when our incoming middle school students (grades 5-7) choose their elective courses for next year. Fifth- through seventh-grade parents, please look for an email coming to your inbox on February 13th with links to course catalogs and directions. Please talk with your student and then log in to your PowerSchool portal account (either student’s or parent’s) beginning February 23rd to help your student select his/her electives. All 5th-7th graders should select their course electives online by March 6th through the PowerSchool portal.

 PTA News

Thank you to everyone who came and made the Friendship Dance such a success!  We loved seeing the kids dance, smile, craft and get their hair done! A special shout-out to all the supports behind the scenes who baked, donated items or their time - we couldn’t have done it without all of your help! Please make sure to pass by the front office and pick a special token of our appreciation.

The City of Mountain View is conducting the Rengstorff Avenue Complete Streets Study to identify ways to improve safety, comfort, and greenery along Rengstorff Avenue for all road users.   

We Need Your Input. Your ideas and feedback are essential to shaping the future of this corridor.
