From the Principal's Desk

Hello Theuerkauf Families,

As we wrap up this calendar year and head into Winter Break, let’s take a few minutes to cherish all the blessings we have in our lives. Just yesterday, while walking across campus I stopped and cherished our beautiful Living Classroom area. Speaking with one of Living Classroom volunteers, I got to know some fun facts about plants she was planting unities also boiled the bulb and used it with food. The plant root was also used for fishing many centuries ago. It contains some toxins that stupefy fish, causing them to float to the surface of the stream or pond they were added to. This fishing technique is not legal anymore. We are grateful to have the opportunity to have native plants in our school yard and appreciate our collaboration with Mountain View Education Foundation (MVEF) that helps fund this program for our school.

On behalf of our entire staff, I want to wish you a wonderful Holiday Season and a Happy New Year 2020. We are blessed to have the opportunity to serve your student and are grateful for our wonderful school community. Your child(ren) bring so much joy to our lives each and every day! Like I say, “Theuerkauf Cheetahs Rock!

Have a happy, healthy, and safe Winter Break!

In appreciation,

Ms. Swati Dagar

Proud Principal at Theuerkauf Elementary
