From the Principal's Desk

Hello Theuerkauf Families!

Our Walk-a-Thon is one day away!!  Friday, 11/15, is Walk-a-Thon Day and we are  excited for it. Please do join us to cheer not only your child as they walk with their class but also other students as they walk laps. Our fundraising goal for our Walk-a-Thon this year is $20,000. If students make this goal, they get to ‘Silly String the Principal’. That is right, who doesn’t want to silly string their Principal?! So, let’s make this fundraising goal together. Our Walkstarter online platform is available to accept your generous donations. Link is here: Walkstarter Walk-a-Thon Link

TK/ Kindergarten students will be walking at 1pm.

1st grade- 5th graders will start walking at 2 pm.  Dismissal for all students will be at their usual time.  Students can return to walk and enjoy the food items, etc. as long as they are accompanied by their parent or guardian.

We are looking for some volunteer assistance on Walk-a-Thon Day.  Please help us by signing up for stations or set-up, etc. Here is the link to sign up for volunteer spots!

The Joys of Reading: Congratulations to Theuerkauf Cheetahs who participated in AR Reading for Trimester one. We had over 40 students in grades 1-5 who reached 100% of their AR Goal. We celebrated with a donuts and juice party. The students were so excited and proud of themselves. Students that made their goal got a Donut and Juice Party at their recognition ceremony. Please be sure to speak with your child about their AR goal and books.  Having goals is an excellent way to motivate and encourage students to challenge themselves.

Our MUR is ready for welcoming our students. We are so excited to announce that we will have a Ribbon Cutting Inauguration Ceremony on Friday, November 22 at 8:50 a.m. We would love to have the pleasure of your company for this event.

Report cards go home this Friday, November 15th. The report card will be in an envelope in your students backpack. Please sign the envelope indicating that you have received the report card and return the envelope by Tues. Nov. 19th. If you have any questions or concerns about your child's grades, please do not hesitate to arrange a conversation with your child’s teacher so they can provide more details, as needed.

I want to end my message by thanking you for sharing your precious child(ren) with us. It is such a pleasure to see them grow academically as well as socially emotionally. Their smiles in the morning, make our staff’s day. They are the joys of our lives.

If we can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our school office at 650-903-6925.

Upward  and Beyond!

Sincerely,

Ms. Swati Dagar

Principal
