From the Principal's Desk

Hello, Theuerkauf Cheetahs

It has been an exciting week at Theuerkauf Elementary! All stakeholders have been hard at work preparing for the coming school year! Teachers and staff have been planning and strategizing diligently behind the scenes to prepare logistics and plan instruction for our first semester, focusing on ways to engage, inspire, involve, and communicate clearly with both students and families in the online space through a range of excellent tools and curricular resources. Our dedicated PTA volunteers and staff volunteers have worked countless hours to put together our supplies kits and materials for our first materials distribution event this week. Parents have been participating in our many Zoom meetings and in-person materials distribution events as they prepare students for the coming year. It has been so exciting to see everyone as we have logged on for our Kindergarten Round-up meeting, our TK Pajama Party, or our first monthly parent coffee. It has been inspiring to see everyone and to begin to get to know each other as an educational community. Thank you to every parent, teacher, staff member, student, and community member for your tireless dedication as we prepare to uplift, engage, and empower our students in this very unprecedented school year. Together, we are stronger, and collectively, we look forward to an excellent year together!

Yours in service,

Michelle Williams

Principal, Theuerkauf Elementary School

Amanda earned a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Education and an MA in Teaching. She is passionate about teaching because she loves the energy and creativity that kids bring into the classroom, and she wants to make a positive difference in their lives. Welcome, Amanda!

Distance Learning Dashboard

This week, we will begin posting our Distance Learning Dashboard to our website. This dashboard will be visible each Friday evening to alert you of the instructional plan for the following week. Each teacher will include details about the learning plan as well as a connection to Google Classroom where all assignments and activities as well as class meeting Zoom links are posted in specificity. Please note that you will need your child’s account and login information to access the Google Classroom.
