Message from the Principal
Parent Teacher conferences are just round the corner. You may have seen a note from your child’s teacher for you to sign up for a conference time. Please sign up for them. This is a great platform to meet the teacher, stay informed on your child’s progress , and learn how we can foster our partnership as you follow-up at home with academics for your child.

Sincerely,

Ms. Swati Dagar

Principal

The bus will be leaving school at 9:00 and they will be returning on Friday, October 5th around 11:45. When the students return on Friday they need to be picked up.

Cool Cat Assembly

The last Friday of each month we recognize Theuerkauf students for positive behavior and academic achievements. Cool Cat Certificates are awarded when a student exemplifies one of the six pillars of character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Students may receive one of these certificates any time a teacher notices one of these excellent behaviors. Two students from each grade level will be chosen at random from the cool cat certificates collected that month to win a prize. Our next Cool Cat Assembly will be on Thursday, September 27th at 8:35am out on the playground.

Coffee and Donuts and Bucket-filling

Join Teresa Peters (a Theuerkauf parent) in Room 25 on this Friday, September 28, 8:35-9:30am to learn about Project Cornerstone, a program that helps build social-emotional skills and support for our students through a book and discussion each month. Come learn about the first book of the year. Find out what “bucket-filling” means and what it has to do with respect and kindness. We are looking for a few more volunteers to read, especially in 2nd-5th grade classrooms. See if this is something you would like to do. Enjoy some coffee and donuts!

PTA News
The PTA invites your family to a Mid-Week Movie Night! While the kids enjoy dinner and the movie Coco, the adults will have their own fun eating, getting to know Theuerkauf better, sharing feedback, and planning events at a PTA meeting! Our next big event is the "Fearkauf Fest," a pumpkin patch, dance, and carnival in one.

Dinner, childcare, and Spanish interpretation provided.

We hope to see you all there!
