 Principal's Message

Dear Cheetah Community,

Open House - Next Thursday, March 21st! - Cupcakes and Fruit Cups!

Please make sure to come to our Open House Night next week to celebrate all of the great learning happening at Theuerkauf! New families - 5:30-6pm and Current families 6-7pm.

Our theme is a scavenger hunt!  You will go to your classroom and receive a scavenger hunt to go on! Some things to look forward to:

  • Grab a cup with us! Fruit cups and School Pride Cupcake decorating in the MUR!

  • Local support services will also be set up in the MUR

  • Join the PTA and support MVEF at their table in the MUR

  • Art Show in the Library made possible by MVEF funding!

  • Student work and showcases in their classroom!

Open House provides families a chance to celebrate learning and build upon the home-school connection. When families show interest and invest time into learning about their education, the child is more engaged and excited about their learning which helps boost their effort and success!

Save the Date for Upcoming Music Concerts!

You are invited to see what your students have been learning in their weekly music classes with Ms. Sylvia Yuan from Community School of Music and Arts (sponsored by MVEF).

Your students receive 24 weeks of music a year thanks to CSMA and MVEF. As we finish the year, we would like to invite you to a multi-grade concert in the Theuerkauf MUR on Friday, April 5th.

1st & 2nd Grade: 8:30am

3rd & 4th Grade: 1:45pm

Parents who come to watch will need to sign in at the office in accordance with the district visitor policy -- showing a valid driver's license or ID. You will need a visitor's badge.

Kinder and TK students will have an in-class presentation scheduled soon, and 5th grade students have their own instrument performance at the end of the school year.

We hope that you can join us!

Yearbook Cover Artwork Contest Due Friday, March 15th!

All students are invited to enter their art in our yearbook cover contest. The winner’s artwork will be displayed on the front or back cover of the yearbook.  Remember to turn in artwork on 8.5 x 11" paper and use bold colors (crayons, paint, markers) that fill the whole page, but no text on the borders. Our theme is Better Together. For more details for the entry: Click here.

I am so grateful for the free library coming to Theuerkauf every 3 weeks. It is so exciting that next Thursday they will be here again! Pick up your new books next week in front of the TH library after the minimum day! Let’s keep reading everyday and fill in your Book Safari Page!

By standing #BetterTogether and amplifying the voices of women, we honor their legacy and continue to strive for a better world.
